I am writing to provide a recommendation for Zoe Stetson. I had the pleasure of meeting Zoe in October 2017 when she joined the Communications department at CREC.
Zoe’s position demanded impeccable written and oral communication skills–including developing, writing, editing, and proofreading–to which she excelled. She wrote press releases for all 16 of CREC’s magnet schools, and even emergency coverage such as the executive director’s response to school incidents. Her speeches are graceful, eloquent, and flow together seamlessly. She has the exceptional ability to tailor her writing to a specific reading level and audience, guaranteeing the verbiage is concise and easy to understand.
When it comes to words, Zoe is a natural. Her intelligence and research shines through in her work. She is a dedicated, success-driven, thoughtful individual who takes initiative and is not afraid to voice her thoughts and ideas to improve any project. She is flexible and never afraid to work extended days–sometimes hours past quitting time to perfect her projects.
Zoe gives each project her all, with a keen eye for fact checking every aspect of the information presented to her. When I was working on the annual report with her, she noted that one of the telephone numbers was incorrect. She went through the 48-page catalog word by word, calling phone numbers, visiting urls, adding up numbers, and googling names and titles to ensure all the details were accurate.
I do not hesitate to recommend Zoe to any employer. Although I hate the thought of her leaving, I will always be proud to have worked with and learned from her.
